		<title>Loved Ones</title>
		<description>

This is the beautifully kept graveyard at Fuzeta. Some of the graves were over 100 years old but were still lovingly tended with fresh flowers and candles placed by devoted relatives.

		<title>Mertola</title>
		<description>

Castelo Dos Mouros (The moorish castle) dominates the Alentajoan town of Mertola.

This beautiful town is only 40 minutes or so drive from the eastern algarve and is well worth a visit but don't go on a Monday as everything is shut.

		<title>Streets ahead</title>
		<description>

Often when we are in another country we miss the little things.

Street signs for instance........................don't you think this is so much nicer than the ones we use in Britain.

Look out for street signs while you are in Portugal they can be inspiring.

		<title>Pego Do Inferno</title>
		<description>

There are many beautiful places to be found inland in the algarve.

Pego do Inferno is one of them. I understand that it is called "the palce of hell" because the water is deep with treacherous caves where a number of people have drowned but don't quote me on that as I ...</description>

		<title>Food is all</title>
		<description>

Food is everything in Portugal.

 No matter how hard up a Portuguese family is they will ensure a good meal on the table.

Portions are generous and every meal is an event to be savoured and lingered over.

		<title>Portuguese religion</title>
		<description>

Ask anyone "what is the main religion in Portugal?" and they will probably reply Roman Catholicism.

They would be wrong, that is the second religion of Portugal.

The first is Football.

		<title>Hello world!</title>
		<description>

A recent survey in Portugal revealed that women outnumber men by about 200,000.

I think that is another excellent reason to visit this beautiful country.
